Social Action Committee The mission of this committee is to create awareness and foster the development of social action projects that will enhance the lives of others and the world around us and to pass on this responsibility to the next generation.
Israel Solidarity Committee Temple Dor Dorim's Israel Solidarity Committee was formed in 2003 and is committed to standing in solidarity with Israel and its people. The committee supports organizations that aid the people of Israel in a variety of ways.

Monthly Volunteer Opportunities
Mitzvah Day Mitzvah Day Sunday, February 12, 2012 at 9:00am Some of the projects include: •Create a military package for America’s Moms for Soldiers. •Cook and serve at Broward Partnership for the Homeless. •Make a baby blanket for AmeriCares. •Bag lunches for the homeless at Life Net 4 Families. •Make tutus for kids with cancer for Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital. •Prepare meals for residents of the Ronald McDonald House. •Cut out denim to make shoes for kids in Africa. •Participate in the I CARE I CURE 5K Run.
