As we all settle back into our “daily grind’ after this very long hot summer I want to officially welcome every one back. The kids are back at school, the High Holy Days are upon us and it’s the time of year we all look forward to – “Are you ready for some football!” College of Professional, whatever your fancy “let the games begin!”
While we have all have “football fever,” The Brotherhood Annual Kickoff Event is scheduled for Sunday night September 26, at 7:30PM. We are returning to Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza in Weston. Last year’s kickoff event was enormously successful and everyone who attended had a fun time. Whether you root for the Dolphins or the Jets, are conflicted like myself, or just love NFL Football, it’s sure to be a great game to watch, as this is a huge divisional rivalry with playoff implications early in the season. We look forward seeing you there, so the spread the word and bring your game face.
If you have not already done so, please complete the membership application and join the Brotherhood. It’s never too late to join and/or volunteer, “No Dues, Just Fun!” Some of the upcoming events include the Annual Poker Tournament, Sukkah Building, a night out with the Marlins (Steve Miller Band as the post game show) and much more. Lastly and most importantly on behalf of myself, my family and the Brotherhood, I want to wish every one a very Happy Healthy and Peaceful New Year. Enjoy the apples dipped in honey and the sounds of the shofar, have an easy fast, remember to have a family dinner in the Sukkah, and join in the festivities of Simchat Torah.
