Jewish ethics is not a matter of "do this and don't do that." few things in life are that black or white. Many times they are grey and the individual must determine correct action for him/herself. Our text for this class on Jewish Ethics will be Talmudic Tractate: Pirke Avot, The Chapter of the Fathers. Through reading, discussing as well as interpreting the words of the rabbis of the Talmud, over 2000 years ago, we will begin to understand the depth and breadth of Jewish thought, ethics & life.
